NETSONIX

Integrated ethernet ultrasonic level controller

The system consists of an ultrasonic level transmitter & suitable transducer from the range. There is an OPC server that can communicate with any OPC client of a SCADA package & the NETSONIX devices. The OPC server has two functions, one to communicate with the NETSONIX for programming & also to transmit the information to the OPC client of a SCADA package. We have a relationship with a South African company called Adroit who have supplied us a special SCADA package of ten scan points for a low cost solution. Should you have more than one NETSONIX you would need a hub to connect them all together. The Ethernet cable then connects directly to the PC with a network card installed.

Available at the moment there is an ultrasonic level indication & a digital temperature reading. In the very near future the NETSONIX instrument will have extra inputs such as flow/digital input & ten additional digital temperature points. You could then have one level transmitter, a flow meter indication & ten temperatures fed into one NETSONIX device. This makes the NETSONIX a very powerful instrument. The temperatures are digital so they can be daisy changed together. The flow meter is a paddle wheel flow meter. The NETSONIX input for the flow meter is digital which could also be used for monitoring any frequency input up to 32 KHz.
