General purpose ultrasonic level controller

The SUMPI ultrasonic level transmitter is capable of measuring liquid & solid levels up to 15m. The SUMPI transmitter consists of an integral keypad, 5 key keypad & dot matrix display. This is housed in a polycarbonate enclosure rated to IP65 protection. A foam face KAB 10F transducer allows the unit to measure solids up to 15m, the polyurethane face KAB10 allows the unit to measure liquids up to 15 meters, & the flanged PTFE lined transducer allows the unit to measure aggressive liquids, such as acid, up to 15m range. All the transducers are available with optional temperature compensation. The unit has an analog 4-20mA signal output, which can be used for continuous level measurement, & three programmable relay alarms, which can be used for point level switching, pump control or alarms. The SUMPI is available with 24V DC or 110/220V AC supply.

Setup of the instrument is very easy. The SUMPI asks a few simple questions on the alphanumeric LCD display, & the user enters the information on the keypad. The unit can display meters, feet, percentage or any abbreviated engineering units. KABScope cable & software allows the SUMPI to be connected to a laptop. This allows the user to also program the unit, & can also be used for diagnostic purposes. Diagnostic results can then be e-mailed for analysis.
